The ambler warning

Book
Abstract: Former Consular Operations agent Hal Ambler has been confined to a psychiatric facility off the coast of Virginia with other intelligence employees whose psychiatric ramblings make them a danger to their own government. But there's one difference between Hal and the other patients - he isn't crazy. With the help of a sympathetic nurse, Hal manages to clear his mind of the drug-induced haze and pull off a daring escape. But the world he returns to isn't the one he left. Friends and associates don't remember him, he has no official records and when he looks in the mirror, the face he sees is not his own.
